Chicken Curry Recipe

Prep Time : 6-10 minutes

Cook time : 31-40 minutes

Ingredients

·         Chicken cut into pieces on bone800 grams

·         Oil 1 tablespoons

·         Cinnamon 1/2 inch

·         Green cardamoms 2-3

·         Cloves 3-4

·         Onions grated2 medium

·         Ginger paste 1 teaspoon

·         Garlic paste 1 teaspoon

·         Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

·         Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

·         Cumin powder 1 teaspoon

·         Coriander powder 2 teaspoons

·         Tomato puree 2 cups

·         Salt to taste

·         Fresh coriander leaves chopped1 tablespo

·         Garam masala powder 1 1/2 teaspoons


Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves and sauté till fragrant.

Step 2

Add onions and sauté till well-browned.

Step 3

Add ginger paste, garlic paste, mix well and sauté for ½ minute.

Step 4

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, little water, mix well and sauté for a minute.

Step 5

Add tomato puree, stir to mix and add salt. Mix again and cook till oil separates.

Step 6

Add chicken pieces, salt, 1 tablespoons chopped coriander, mix well and add garam masala powder. Mix well, cover and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes.

Step 7



Garnish with 1 teaspoon chopped coriander and serve hot.
